Winter Music Conference is a week long electronic music event held every March in Miami. The event is attended by deities of the electronic music scene, and it is a sought-after place to network, premiere tracks and showcase skills. It is also considered a mecca for danceaholics. The festivities are centered in and out of South Beach, Downtown Miami with most of Miami's most famous clubs playing host.

For those that are heading down for WMC 007 whether to show off your talents, your countless hours at the gym or your moves on the dance floor - we strongly encourage you to use sun block and to ACCESSORIZE BOLDLY.

Anane

Born in Praia, Santiago--the capital of the unspoiled islands off the coast of West Africa in Cape Verde Anane is a Singer, writer and humbly blessed with a beautiful gift of song.   Anané has an uncommon versatility to create fresh and timeless music stemming from the beats, sounds and emotions of her heart and soul.

Anane's first album, "Anane Selections" will be released this summer via Vega Records. Although her album has yet to hit the stands, Anane's touring schedule has already commenced, including take on the stage at this year's Super Bowl XLI Pre-Game Show, alongside Grammy Award Winning Louie Vega and his Elements of life Orchestra while Cirque Du Soleil comes to life.

DJ Moni

Monica Pineda aka DJ Moni is a lover of music from around the world.   She began collecting vinyl at the age of nine after begging her parents for a turntable when she moved from Colombia to the States. The Caribbean and African rhythms she grew up with were met with the bass-heavy electro, hip hop and new wave sounds of the early eighties.

Moni currently lives in NYC, teaches yoga by day and spins organic dance beats by night. Moni is part of the female DJ crew, Ubiquita NYC, a regular DJ for Giant Step events and a resident DJ for Issey Miyake, NY.   This summer Moni will bring her eclectic music selection and eenamaria accessories while on tour in Europe and Asia.
